ABSTRACT
(p. 131) The programme of education in Islam must be based on the Islamic creed. The goal of its programme must be the formation of an Islamic personality and equipping that personality with sciences and knowledge of the affairs of life. The State must make education of Islamic culture obligatory in all stages of education. With respect to non-Islamic culture, those parts of it that do not contradict Islam are to be taught at the secondary stage.
