ABSTRACT
A typical reflection waveform with a large time window, obtained from measurement in water, is shown in Figure 3.
At t = 2ns, the voltage step pulse launched into the transmission line is recorded by the oscilloscope. The oscillations following the rising step are perhaps aberrations due to the internal circuit and reflection from the front panel. The signal becomes stable while travelling down the cable.
