ABSTRACT
Development necessarily occurs within the context of an organization. Part of what amounts to success in development work, then, relies on success in working as a member of an organization. However excellent they may be, good ideas do not sell themselves. One of the most-some say the most-challenging aspects of research and development work is not the creation of products. It is working with all of the people who are necessary to the process that translates concepts into reality.
