ABSTRACT
In the shaping of the New World Order what will become necessary is the cleansing away of those obsolete ideological habits, with the substitution of useful, truthful information and better, more diverse communication. The world is shifting from an industrial age society, with its emphasis on fossil energy, capital gain, labour management, to a high-technology society, with information, innovation, non-fossil natural resources becoming the power sources. The basic, all-round functional unit of the brain is the neuron, the brain’s cell. Tracing the history of the neuron’s growth from young neuroblast to full-fledged mature neuron is a bit like tracing the history of the UN’s growth. The way to empower the people is to give them information; the way to enslave the people is to keep them ignorant and hoard the information but for ‘the few’. Long-awaited proposals demanding information, outlining wider communication provisions, are not only necessary and practical, but quite feasible.
