In this unit we shall compare the information given in dictionaries and encyclopedias, but you should remember that what we are really interested in is our own knowledge and how it is organised. The question, then, is whether the knowledge in your mind can be divided into two separate sections corresponding to the information held in dictionaries and encyclopedias.
