ABSTRACT
Synthesis of α-aminophosphonates and their derivatives existing vital role in medicinal and pharmaceutical fields. Green chemistry has become a powerful tool in research field of chemistry and recent areas of interest are the synthesis of bioactive organic molecules via multi-component reactions with environmental friendly approach. Multi-component reactions are contribute remarkable advantages such as nontoxic and environmental friendly, atom economy and cost effective. The present chapter expresses various synthetic methodology of α-aminophosphonate derivatives and bioactivity studies of α-aminophosphonates such as antiproliferative, antifungal, anti-allergy agents, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, inhibitors of HIV protease, potent antibiotics, anti-cancer etc.
