ABSTRACT
In all examples discussed in the book, we have focused on statistical estimation of a variety of measures of association and regression models. It is crucial to interpret these results in the context of the details of the study and current epidemiological understanding of the disease and exposures. For two of the main case studies, the Western Collaborative Group Study and the study of coffee drinking and pancreatic cancer, we take these last few words to draw attention to further findings.
