ABSTRACT

In this chapter, the thin-film LED structures are introduced in three parts. The first part is the transferring of GaN LED epistructure to Cu substrate. The second describes how to fabricate thin-film GaN LEDs with embedded electrodes to solve the electrode shading problems. The last part describes the thin-film GaN LEDs with photoelectrochemically treated structures to enhance light extraction.
