ABSTRACT

This chapter analyzes female terrorism in right-wing American organizations. In particular, women in racial terrorism, female neo-Nazis, Women of the Ku Klux Klan (WKKK), the Army of God (AOG), and other women’s actions in U.S. right-wing terrorism are described. Right-wing terrorism is driven by the philosophy that hierarchy and inequality should not be challenged because they are the natural consequences of traditional social differences, including inequalities in terms of religion, race, gender, and socio-economic status. White supremacist groups are inherently linked to right-wing terrorism in the United States. Male leaders of these supremacist groups have realized that women can increase visibility for their groups and defy the expectations of observers.
