ABSTRACT
Building on the introduction and key terms provided in Chapter 1, I turn here to a closer examination of feminist poststructural (FPS) perspectives and their application to policy and policy-related matters. Familiarity with theories informing an FPS approach is vital to understanding their application and their potential for policy analysis. Since FPS is a relatively new approach to policy analysis, this chapter is written with the novice in mind. Readers with a more sophisticated understanding of feminist poststructuralism will likely find this chapter review familiar ground as it provides a common conceptual backdrop for the remaining chapters in this volume.
