ABSTRACT

Women´s right to vote in Swedish parliamentary elections was decided in 1921. After the Second World War, a great number of women attended higher education. In the 1960s women in the work force demanded child care. The feministic Group 8 was formed and new living patterns were established. In 2005 the feministic political party Feministic Initiative was formed. The leader Gudrun Schyman organized “home parties” as a political campaign. Progress in equality issues.
