ABSTRACT
Cathy was 13 years old when I first met her and 18 when I said ‘goodbye’. This chapter is first and foremost hers. She prepared detailed accounts of what she wanted me and other people to know about her experience. Her hope is that it will help other people. (Some of the original material could not be produced very clearly for technical reasons but it is included to convey how Cathy wanted to communicate about her experience.)
