Students with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) struggle with organisation and planning. This chapter focuses on how the student might begin to plan their revision, including fun activities that allow them to think about time and time concepts. A revision timetable can help alleviate any stress the students have about their exams, which for those with SLCN is often linked to either not knowing what to expect or a lack of preparation. Students are rarely given a specific revision or exam timetable in schools. Having a revision timetable helps students not only with organising and planning time but also with alleviating stress around knowing when exams begin and where exactly they take place. The timetable will also allow the student to include the other things they will need to do during the process of revising. Students create the group and use time concepts in a way that is relevant to them.
