ABSTRACT
This chapter conducts a review of popular practices supporting organizational learning in order to assess to what extent those practices could be oriented on success and learning from "what works". It aims to be a practical inspiration for both civil servants and for academics. The chapter focuses on every day, practical solutions applied by public managers in the units of their ministries or public agencies. It provides result of an extensive empirical study conducted in Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development countries (OECD). The chapter concludes with what extended practices of organizational learning seem suitable to be focused on success. It offers toolbox for public managers that help with overcoming these limitations and learning from success. This practice is a cornerstone of "performance measurement"— a paradigm that has been developed across different OECD countries. Logic Models is one of the tools used to define and visualize in a process way the raison d'etre of the particular organization or intervention.
