ABSTRACT
When Anne Frank’s diary was published shortly after World War II, the world grieved for one young teenager, as well as for the lives of six million Jews, crushed by Nazi atrocities. Her innocent voice pulled readers into the attic where a dozen Jews lived together in hiding and reverberated throughout the world with a single message about how cruelly we humans treat one another.
