ABSTRACT

Scott Robinson is one of San Francisco’s most popular athletes. When he’s not working, he’s training, whether it is for a triathlon, the next AIDS Ride cycling event, or a swimming competition. Born in Texas and raised in Iowa, Scott attended Williams College in western Massachusetts where he studied geology. After college he lived in Virginia and Oregon before settling in San Francisco. But one thing that has been constant in Scott’s life is his involvement in sports. He started swimming when he was six and has gone on to coach and compete at semi-professional levels for several years. Along the way he picked up cycling and running, eventually completing several marathons and triathlons while placing respectably in his age group.
