ABSTRACT

2Let P be a field. By a vector space over P, we shall mean a vector space of finite dimension over P unless specified otherwise. If A is a vector space over P, a bilinear map f: A × A — > A is called a multiplication on A and A is said to be an algebra with respect to f. As is customary, for X and Y in A, we shall denote f(X,Y) simply by XY.
