ABSTRACT
George Sanger, better known as “The Fat Man,” is a unique figure in the games industry and also one of its greatest pioneers. Famous for his crazy cowboy suits, big cigars, swagger, and wit, it’s impossible to fit him into a category. Even his chosen epithet doesn’t fit him-he’s not even fat! (And thank you very much.) I tend to think of him as game audio’s version of a Frank Zappa or Captain Beefheart.
