ABSTRACT
What has caused temperature changes over our recent past? Knowing the answer is vital because climate models predict that man’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions should have led to a 2° C increase in temperature since the Industrial Revolution. Instead, the planet has warmed 0.5° C in the last century and most of that occurred before the majority of anthropogenic GHGs had been emitted.
