ABSTRACT
The Canadian government’s decision in the summer of 2009 to impose a visa requirement on Mexican citizens–and the impact it had on ties between Canada and Mexico–attracted for the first time the attention of analysts, students of North American integration, and the general public to the least explored side of North America: the Canada-Mexico relationship.
