The mobile device market is continuing its explosive growth, with advanced hardware graphics accelerated smartphone devices rapidly gaining in market share over more mainstream devices. Today several hundred million devices are available in the market with Imagination Technologies’ POWERVR MBX or SGX technology alone, representing a massive opportunity for software developers. With great prospects in terms of installed user base, which already today exceeds the console market, and with a strong ramp-up, these devices will soon exceed the PC market volumes on a year-to-year basis.
