ABSTRACT
It finally arrives–the day you have been looking forward to for so many months. You wake up in the morning and realize that that night you will either be a candidate again (if the race is a primary), an elected official (if it’s a general general election), or out of business altogether (if you lose). There is little the candidate can do on election day except wait, and each hour seems endless.
