Issue How can public, private, and nonprot organizations characterize hazards aecting their organization or community and use that information to reduce the adverse impacts of disasters?
Hazard risk zones may be identied in local communities and may reveal threats and vulnerabilities that might not have been obvious nor understood. How do you prole hazards and risks without causing alarm? What information should be shared and in what form?
