ABSTRACT

In previous chapters the effects of G exposure on the cardiovascular, respiratory and musculoskeletal systems have been considered in detail. This largely reflects the importance of these systems in terms of the adverse consequences of G exposure. However, it must be remembered that the entire human body can be subjected to these high levels of G force. All systems of the body are therefore potentially affected, albeit to different extents. In this chapter, the effects of G exposure on some of the other body systems are considered.
