ABSTRACT
Social workers are major providers of health and mental health services within the Department of Defense and in the general population. Military social workers provide a broad range of services in both traditional and nontraditional settings and employ a wide array of interventions. In their work, military social workers utilize multimodal clinical approaches, conduct organizational and human resource consultation, perform program evaluation research, and administer an assortment of human service programs.
