ABSTRACT

In this lesson we see that when an adjectival verb follows a verb, it means do the action a little more AdjV (faster, slower, bigger, smaller, etc.)

In Lesson 10 we learned how to describe how actions are performed when the verb does not take an object. (Use and Structure 10.4.) Recall that, ordinarily, ⼽ or another intensifi er occurs before the adjectival verb in this structure.
