ABSTRACT

Human resource information system (HRMIS) or e-human resource management (e-HRM) is a software to easily conduct the operations of administrative or other necessary HR functions. This includes storing employee information, managing payrolls, and also e-HRM offers ease in planning, recruitment, performance appraisal, communication, compensation, and training. With the use of MIS in the organization, it would help increase effectiveness and efficiency of operations. Although it is also important to note the drawbacks of using a vulnerable information system. This is mainly on the security. Hackers favor a challenge. Therefore, the more advanced and precious the organization is, the more hackers are likely to challenge themselves to try to breach the firewall. Important information will be very dangerous when it is leaked. Personal information of employee, finance accounts of the company, and many more can be extracted thus, making the company easier to be attacked. This study focus on security challenging to implement e-HRM within organization that may lead importance of having security awareness for possible threats and security breaches and avoid attacking of information by social engineer.
