ABSTRACT
Hyperbolic space is just like the hyperbolic plane, only one dimension bigger. In fact, every two-dimensional slice of hyperbolic space is a hyperbolic plane (Figure 15.1) in the same way that every two-dimensional slice of Euclidean space is a Euclidean plane and every two-dimensional slice of a hyperspace is a twosphere. Hyperbolic space is homogeneous. It is often abbreviated as H3.
