ABSTRACT

This paper presents the importance of iris recognition for disease identification and security analysis. Clustering methods are used to segment the image of the eye for feature extraction: iris, pupil, collarette, scelera. We have used iris cluster for disease identification and the combination of pupil, collarette, scelera for security analysis. The project is to recognize the uniqueness of the iris. The execution might get affected due to some minor deflections in the eye due to reflection of light and squeaking. So image processing is done in order to evade different types of noise and other light sources which might affect the iris recognition process.
