ABSTRACT

Glaucoma is an important human disease and so it has attracted much attention in research including its imaging aspects. In one study earlier this decade, it was estimated that 70 million people worldwide were affected by glaucoma, of which 6.7 million were blind in both eyes from this disease [1]. By the year 2020, these numbers are projected to be 79.6 million and 11.2 million, respectively [2]. Aside from the individual human burden and the loss of quality of life suffered by glaucoma patients [3], the global impact of this disease is signicant.
