ABSTRACT

In digital signal processing, a finite impulse response (FIR) filter is a filter whose impulse response or response to any finite length input is finite duration because it settles to zero in finite time. FIR filters contain as many poles as they have zeros. but all of the poles are located at the origin because all of the poles are located inside the unit circle, the FIR filter is ostensibly stable. This chapter will focus on the Implementation and design of FIR filter.
