ABSTRACT
This chapter provides an overview of the mega-trends transforming the world. We choose several of the technology mega-trends and other trends, which are of interest from the multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) perspective, for a closer look. We discuss what role MCDM could play in this revolutionary development and how the mega-trends change the field of MCDM.
