ABSTRACT

Creativity is one of the main aspects that individuals need to continuously develop and solve problems. This study focused on perceived organizational support (POS) for creativity, creative self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and individual creativity, and how the variables affect each other. The subjects were 50 members from five non-profit organizations engaged in domestic stray animal care in Surabaya and Sidoarjo. Using the partial least square (PLS) analyses method showed significant influences on several hypothesis, namely the influence of POS for creativity toward job satisfaction, creative self-efficacy toward job satisfaction, POS for creativity toward individual creativity, and creative self-efficacy toward individual creativity. The variables with no significant effect were job satisfaction toward individual creativity caused by lack of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in members, POS for creativity toward individual creativity with job satisfaction as the intervening variable, and creative self-efficacy toward individual creativity with job satisfaction as the intervening variable. The results of this study can be used as an input in decision-making related to quality and organizational development in order to increase job satisfaction and creativity of non-profit organizations engaged in domestic stray animal care in Surabaya and Sidoarjo.
