ABSTRACT

Most landslides are caused by the effective stress change. Then, the shearing characteristics of landslide clayey soils in terms of effective stress are important. This paper treats effective shearing resistance angle ϕ′ and ϕ r of landslide clayey soils which sampled in fractured zone. We investigated the influence of disturbance , grain size distribution and difference of shearing mechanism on ϕ′ and ϕ r. Finally, we suggested the idea using difference of shearing mechanism for design of countermeasure including anchor and other reinforcement techniques on the slope.
