ABSTRACT
The use of Information Technology (IT) in the primary school has two aspects for the teacher: first the development of each child’s personal IT capability and skills; and second, the possibilities for IT to enhance children’s learning in other areas of the curriculum. The first aspect is widely felt to be important, as can be seen in the report (SCAA, 1994) of the consultation on the review of the National Curriculum.
