ABSTRACT

Poetry and letters are Dickinson’s desire to speak to her contemporaries and future generations. Therefore, in her texts, there is a wonderful combination of literary and colloquial elements, which is reflected in the choice of vocabulary and syntactic models. Descriptions and messages here are penetrated by restless motion, constantly seeking the author herself. The correlation of Emily Dickinson letters and poems is in the similarity of texts and their psychological unity.
