ABSTRACT

This paper describes some characteristics of an Intelligent Tutoring System oriented to train on the functioning and operation of industrial equipment and written in C++ v. 3.1. Data structures able to organize the expert’s knowledge and others which allow to make a distribution of the tutoring knowledge was designed. Based on these structures, the algorithm able to solve the problem of the analysis of the learner’s answers, allowing the detection and correction of the errors, and the algorithms, which the system can present the appropriate task for the learner in accordance to his knowledge in each moment, were elaborated. Control strategies applied on the Learning Management Model were defined to allow the introduction of the strategies on the Learning Process. The paper reports the used pedagogical strategies in the Intelligent Tutoring on the functioning and operation of the pressurizer for Nuclear Power Plant with PW reactor type WWER 440.
