ABSTRACT

As is evident from preceding information in this book, an increasingly bright future seems to be on the horizon for cannabis therapeutics, whether herbally based or designed to utilize its various components. The pros and cons of cannabis proper, whether smoked, ingested orally, or vaporized, have been previously addressed. A wide variety of delivery systems is possible in the future. The present selection will detail additional preparations, particularly synthetic cannabinoids, and discuss how they and cannabis-based pharmaceuticals may be applied in future clinical therapeutics.
