ABSTRACT

This chapter provides a theoretical review of them to form a foundation for the study’s primary research problems and direction. It examines not only the change of media morphosis but also the evolution of the mode of communication, and especially the development of the whole media environment and ecology. Starting from the relationship between media evolution theory and the real world, the chapter traces the development process from interpersonal communication to immersive communication by means of a literature review. The emergence of immersive media and modes of communication has led people to become ubiquitous and ever-present. New technologies and their promotion by the government are greatly accelerating human communication, generating new media forms and modes of communication, while further promoting the transformation of the space of communication. Poster attributed the era dominated by the one-way broadcast model to top-down communication led by intellectuals and cultural elites, resulting in one-way communication from a few people to the public.
