ABSTRACT

As mentioned previously, CRT is measured in many areas beyond the traditional choice-reaction paradigm, such as processing complexity and access to the knowledge structure, or access to memory, all of which are beyond the scope of the book. Yet, there are some paradigms beyond traditional CRT that bear directly on stage analysis, namely, target classification, same–different responses, and visual-fixation duration, and they will be the themes of this chapter. The results on target classification and same–different responses do not have much practical spin-off, but they have found wide application in related areas where they are repeatedly met. In contrast, the discussion of visual-fixation duration ends with a large application section.
