ABSTRACT
It is well known that rare-earth elements possess many advantages with modification, cleaning for molten alloys, and so on. In recent years, some researchers proposed a novel Al-Ti-B-RE grain refiner which combined the advantages of Al-Ti-B grain refiner and rare earth element to overcome the above-mentioned the shortcomings of Al-Ti-B grain refiner (Wang, Xu and Muhammad submitted2014, Wang, Xu, Kang, Tang and Zhang2014).
