ABSTRACT
We seem to be carrying with us a load of knowledge and ideas, a capital of images, observations, and so on, which are not of our making. It is as if, having come to this world, someone has given us a bag full of our fathers’ and forefathers’ investments, and we just have to put our hands inside it.
