The best story in the newspapers of July 20, 1990 was not the sentencing of Pete Rose, the opening of the Nixon Library or the salvaging of the civil rights bill. It was Michelle Locke’s wonderful AP story on the new sexual harassment code at Amherst-Pelham Regional High School in Massachusetts.
