ABSTRACT
Generative leaders excite people; they find ways to make people work for the city but also to strengthen their own position. Generative leaders often are the glue that keeps collaboration together, and they open new horizons in collective thinking. This is the ideal, a scarce “natural resource” in many cities, a hard to identify feature of city development.
