ABSTRACT

The third key organizational capability in a highly conductive organization is structure—the arrangement or grouping of people and responsibilities into particular roles as well as the relationships between and the integration of these various groups to form the whole (see Figure 8.1). To enable an unimpeded flow of high-quality knowledge at an accelerated pace, we need to rethink traditional organizational structures and create new approaches that are aligned to our strategy and to our capability to calibrate to customer needs.
