ABSTRACT
LONDON, June 8th 1815 Sir,l You are, I believe, fully acquainted with the reasons which induced me in the month of April last, to apply for permission to deposit my collection of Athenian Sculpture in the British Museum. And I presume that it has been intimated to you, that this application, for reasons which it is unnecessary for me to detail, was not accepted by the Trustees.
