ABSTRACT
Good design minimizes the risk of low back disorders. However, design entails making trade-off
decisions amongst a combination of risks to reduce such exposures. Implementing solutions to reduce
the risk of low back disorders within an existing system requires as much caution with trade-off decisions
as when designing a new system.
