This chapter presents an annotated survey of the votive offerings from the cult places under scrutiny and the ritual performances that can be reconstructed through the analysis of the material sources. Special attention is paid to the social aspect of these cultic manifestations, in order to better contextualize "birth and life" of cult places in the wider sociopolitical framework of the Lucanian world. The archaeological finds from Lucanian sanctuaries mostly consist of votive offerings donated by single individuals or groups of worshippers on different occasions. Numerically less important than the terracotta figurines, but just as widely distributed all over Lucanian cult places, are metal objects, in particular weapons and ornamental objects. At the sanctuary of Rivello, the most-attested statuettes are the standing female figurines. In the light of the available data, the only sanctuary that can be compared to Rossano is Timmari in terms of both quantitative and qualitative richness of the votives.
