ABSTRACT
Janne Corneil will explain the national and international experience with “innovation districts.” This essay will look critically at the real challenges and opportunities associated with this new way of branding the urban manufacturing district. The essay is organized around a comparison of the Kendall/MIT area with the 22@ district in Barcelona.
