ABSTRACT

Fundamental transformations, such as changing the company's values and culture, always require big investment of time, money and effort; and their benefits are very difficult to quantify. Often, the benefits are of the so-called ‘soft’ – or intangible – variety, such as an improvement in motivation or the creation of an entrepreneurial mindset. The hard benefits, like cost savings or revenue increases, are frequently not concrete. In addition, gains are generally achieved in the medium to long term, usually after three to five years of hard work.
